Strength in Support

Hi! My name is Clara Marreiros, I am from Brazil, Rio de Janeiro.
My story as birth work starts after I take my bachelor degree in Registered Nurse in 2010. Shortly after I took Neonatal and Public Health Specialization.

Although my career as Registered Nurse in Brazil was pleasant and comfortable, in 2017 I have decided to challenge my life and moved to Canada to have news opportunities, improve my English, meeting different cultures and places.

After many different work experience, my heart continued to be fulfilled again when I started taking care of newborns, infants, toddlers as nanny and I noticed how I missed be around babies and birth. Then I took my certification as Birth & Labour Doula and Hypnobirthing Childbirth Educator. Now I am proudly member of Doulas Association of British Columbia (DSA) and Hypnobirthing®  Institute. 

I am really happy to work with what I definitly love:  pregnants, babies and helping families to see a positive view of life.

In my role as certified Birth & Labour Doul, Hypnobirthing Educator and also Postpartum Doula I offer physical and mental support to the birthing person and their partners before, during and after childbirth.

Maternity for me is one of the most beautiful and powerful things about humanity, a passage ritual and I am so proud to offer support to women, babies and families across the world.
